Corroboree are always looking for keen and interested parents who would like to further their involvement with the club. Little Athletics ACT is offering a Level 1 coaching course. It is a great course even for Age Group co-ordinators to further their knowledge on the events the kids are doing. Corroboree will reimburse the cost of the course to anyone who is interested and happy to use this new found knowledge to contribute to the club (example age group co-ordinators).

Level 1 Community Athletics Coach Course

VENUE: University of Canbera (Bruce Campus) Building 4

COST: $220 includes your first year of registration as a coach with Athletics Australia and your coaching resources.

The Level 1 Community Athletics Coach course is the entry level for all Accredited Athletics Coaches.  This accredited coaching course focuses on the fundamental skills of running, jumping, and throwing that comprise all track and field events. Focus is placed on skills, games, and drills that foster enjoyment, improvement, and long term athlete participation.
