Corroboree Little Athletics is the oldest Little Athletics club in the ACT, having been established in 1970.
Meets are held every Saturday during the season (excluding school holidays) from 8.45am until approx. 11.00am and the season runs from October to March each year (breaking for Christmas and January school holidays).
We are a very family-oriented club and encourage parents helping out as much as possible to ensure the smooth running of our events.
We provide an interactive environment for kids to learn, have fun and get fit, but also to encourage them to enjoy a healthy competition at all levels in athletics from club level through to ACT Championships.
We pride ourselves on being one of the first athletics clubs in Canberra and hope to continue to grow and improve with our local community.
Corroboree offers athletes in age groups under 6 to 8 with skills development sessions as part of the weekly athletics program.
These sessions are play-based and teach our young athletes how to throw, jump, and start races.
All you need to know about Corroboree Little Athletics; how and where we operate, season calendar, weekly programs, BBQ duty rosters, on track, key dates, carnivals, awards, club records, uniforms, codes of behaviour and venue map… is in our Information Booklet. All registered athletes will receive a hard copy information booklet in their registration pack.

We encourage at least one parent per family to provide assistance in the form of simple tasks such as time-keeping, measuring and recording results at their athlete’s events. No previous experience is necessary. Experienced club officials will be on hand to help.
Age group coordinators
The main duty of the Age Group Coordinator is to keep the group together and move from event to event quickly and and ensure that parents assist in the many facets of running athletic events. It does not require any technical knowledge with respect to coaching the children.
Download Age Group Coordinators Duty Statement for more information on this role.
The schedule for each meet rotates between four programs in order to include the full range of track and field events.
