Corroboree Little Atheletics

Hall of Fame

Criteria

The Corroboree Little Athletics Hall of Fame shall be open to individuals who were members of Corroboree Little Athletics and went on to have been a part of National Athletics Teams representing Australia in international competition. The athlete must display one or more of the following areas:

  • A superior competitor
  • The nominee must be of good character and reputation
  • The nominee must have had a significant impact in his/her sport
  • The nominee must have attended Corroboree meets and been a member of the club at some stage in their junior career

Jayden Sawyer - 29 February 2020

Jayden Sawyer is an Australian para athlete having been diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy at the age of two and undergoing numerous operations along the way. He became a world champion and world record holder in the F38 Javelin Throw. He credits athletics with assisting him with his disability and learning to understand his body.

Lauren Boden - 29 February 2020

Lauren Boden is a former little athlete and nine-time national 400m hurdles champion and (soon to be) dual Olympian. In addition to being an elite athlete, Lauren is a passionate supporter of Little Athletics and an exceptional ambassador and role model who continues to inspire the next generation of athletes.
